Just so you all know, you will never ever just get to ride in the cash cab. She was taking a test online (with no mention of CC, it was for like some fake start-up game show) and was asked to come down to nyc for a screening. After a quick screening, the producers were like, "so, we are moving this to another studio for the afternoon, here's the address, we'll get you a cab and meet you over there."
and BOOM! They walked right into the cash cab. That was the show. They screen the contestants ahead of time. That's why you never see anyone who just has NO IDEA about any of the answers. That's also how they keep the element of shock when you open the cash cab door.
It makes sense, but when she told me, it was like I was told there was no adult Santa.
Oh, and, you don't get to walk away with cash money right then and there. It gets mailed to you like 4 months later in a very boring check.

This just made me so sad. I don't think I can ever watch the show again :-(
