are you running linux because of work? how is it? i am installing kubuntu when i get home bc i need to mount it on a dvd-r and don't have any here (NERD).

yeah! i'm running ubuntu on top of windows - its really complicated to run, but im picking it up i think.
work was good! yesterday was super stressful because i felt unprepared for the amount of learning, and because i was having sooo many technical issues and wanted to solve them all myself. turns out, windows is really, really not ideal for this kind of work (i.e., monitoring network traffic), and the two guys (not my boss, who didnt come in today) recommended i just start using linux. after that, things started coming much easier. tomorrow i have to figure out a few more details, and then next week i should be ready to start analyzing the actual major traffic data, which is exciting
i'm running linux right now and can't listen to the song, but i'll check that out later.
